Worldwide Groove Corporation are Kurt Goebel and Ellen Tift. This song is from their "Chillodesiac Lounge, vol. 1: FEVER" CD available at chillodesiaclounge.com. Similar artists include Kruder & Dorfmeister, Zero 7, Thievery Corporation, Bitter:Sweet, and Goldfrapp.
This more cowbell remix was inspired by the Saturday Night Live sketch starring Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken as Bruce Dickinson. WGC superimposed the guitar riff from the Blue Oyster Cult song "Don't Fear the Reaper" over the melody of the song Fever, while interjecting the phrase "I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell." Fun!!
