Rob Bredl & Tim Bredl - A snake in the gr-arse!

Have you ever wanted to know how to tell a male snake from a female snake? Tim Bredl has the answer in this insightful if not unconventional view of a snake bum.

This was my first time on camera, so I was a bit nervous and not thinking straight. That is not actually how you sex a snake correctly. The probe is straight and you slide it, with correct positioning, down the side of the snakes vent (toward the tail). If it is able to go reasonably deep it is a male, if not then it is a female.

@kuntrasha Buy a B Class Zoo that has one in it. Unfortunately thats about the only way, unless you relocate to the USA or Asia.

This certainly rings true for my female Bredl! She's never got her mouth shut and thats the only way I can tell them apart! The male never so much as hisses at me. Typical woman eh! Haha they're called Harold and Madge! Quite fitting I do believe :)
