Long and short of it, O'Rielly never won a cup (Gillies won four) and O'Rielly never out scored Gillies....

@5inthehole all im saying is that gillies was the better player. i knew that o reilly's number 24 was retired. geez u dont have to be an asshole
-
@lai71690 Just to show our You Tube audience of how ignorant you are of hockey history; You said O'Reilly's number is not in the retired like Gillies. YOU WRONG!, infact Terry's number is retired and rightly sits in the rafters of Boston Garden, right next to their 2010 Stanley Cup Banner!
-
@5inthehole gillies number sits up at the rafters at nassau coliseum as well and won 4 cups to o reillys none. gillies is also in the hall of fame

@nyerinmo We were not talking about who is a clean fighter. We are talking about the only way Gilies can win a fight against O'Reilly.All I see on you tube is on any fight that the two squared of without Gilies throwing a sucker punch, OReilly kicked his ass! And no matter what you say, the Islander did dump Gillies-The Bruins kept O'Reilly and his number sits up in the Garden rafters.

@pilatunes WHL...The Pat's....Clarke is facing off....glances to the crowd to see what the ruckus is in the stands....just his parents settling things in the stands...
-
@wakeeeboarder ...I don't get it...his parents? Just curious.

Clarke was one heck of a Junior player and enforcer. His style of hockey won them the Memorial Cup and 4 Stanley Cups. His first fight with Dave Barber and the schooling he gave Barber made all his home town fans proud. The Broad Street Bullies would have to go through Gillies!!
The camera was never on his parents in the stands. That was another story!

@bertmustin i thought he was phenominal in the last series against edmonton in the stanley cup finals which they lost. he never ever gave up. check out the bob nystrom tribute videos too-another rediculously underrated player.

I've been watching Gillies videos and he's fast becoming my all-time favorite player.
If you wanted to go with Bossy, you'd have to get through Gilles first. That's when hockey was a true team sport.

I love the questioning of Gillies being in the HOF. He scored over 300 goals, scored 30 or more 6 times, won 4 cups, made the playoffs i think 13 out 14 seasons. I'm not even going to mention his value as enforcer which allowed Bossy to play fearlessly.
