Terence Kemp McKenna was a writer, philosopher, psychonaut and ethnobotanist. He was noted for his many speculations on the use of psychedelic, plant-based entheogens, and subjects ranging from shamanism, the development of human consciousness, and novelty theory.

Dr. Kenneth Ring is Professor Emeritus of psychology at the University of Connecticut, and a researcher within the field of near-death studies. He is also co-founder and past president of the International Association for Near-Death Studies. Ring has written several books about NDEs, including Life at Death, Heading Toward Omega, The Omega Project, Mindsight and Lessons from the Light. He is also the coauthor of Methods of Madness: The Mental Hospital as a Last Resort.

  • @Vertsk8er419 I am currently on the chapter concerning cannabis. My copy of true hallucinations just arrived at the library today! Is there anyone else you know of that you would recommend reading?

  • @Disposition446 that's his most comprehensive and accessible book, i would read true hallucinations next

  • Terence..what would the world be without this man? damn genious

  • Interesting how they mirror body language.

  • @The3rdPlateau ...and sometimes, that reality just crosses over to this one.

The only reason I believe that is because, to assume that's NOT true is to also assume that spacetime is just a mass hallucination.
