Drama, an Important Part of a Balanced Breakfast: Nick

As if yesterday's conversation wasnt weird enough, breakfast wasn't any better. Joe came walking down and plopped himself on the other side of the table (Away from everybody else), leaving me to sit in-between Selena and Demi. Kevin and Dallas were already done eating. Kevin was checking things with the limo while Dallas baby sat Madison and Frankie.
"So how did you guys sleep last night?" I tried.
"Fine." Selena replied, going back to her cereal. But "I'm not sure about Demi." She said eying the girl to my left. Demi shot her a look and Selena jumped.
"Oww!" she yelped.
"Umm, well what about you Joe?" I said trying to stay out of their kicking range under the table. He looked up at me and mumbled something I couldn't hear. Then he looked over at Demi. Then back at his cereal.
"Okayyy then. I'm gonna go see if Kevin needs anymore help. Later guys."
"Bye, Nick." Selena waved. No response from the other two. They looked like zombies, those two, like they had gotten no sleep at all.

"Hey dude." I called out to Kevin. "What's up? Need any help?" I asked.
"No, I'm good. Joe up yet?"
"Yeah I got him up about 20 minutes ago. He's eating breakfast right now.
Dude, do you know what happened to him and Demi?"
"No what?"
"I was asking you. I don't know either." I shrugged.
"What's wrong?"
"They didn't say anything to each other at all and Joe sat on the opposite side of the table from her."
"Weird....." he trailed off.
"Very..." I added.
"Did anything happen last night?"
"Not that I know of."
"Even weirder!" Kevin said, his eyes getting bigger. I turned to see Joe walking out.
"What? Did I forget my pants?" he looked down, reacting to Kevin's surprised look. "Nope." A few seconds later came Selena.
"Demi! Come on!" she called over her shoulder. Give me a second. She said to us, running back in the door. About five minutes later Demi came out of the door, against her will, by the way. Demi grumbled something to Selena and they walked awkwardly up to me.
"Ready to go?" I asked.
"Yeah!" Selena smiled. "Let's go Demetria!" she said to her best friend, forcing a smile at me. I could tell she was frustrated.
We drove for what felt like hours to get to the filming site. On our way there, Demi and Selena sat on either side of me. Joe, Kevin, Dallas, Madison, and Frankie sat on the other side, opposite from us. Demi had fallen asleep on my shoulder and Joe was staring daggers at me while I tried to have a conversation with Selena.
"What happened?" I whispered to her.
"Joe said he loved Demi."
"Whoa! No way!"
"Yeah. Last night and Demi was trying to talk to him about it after, but he fell asleep."
"Haha! What a tard." I laughed looking at him. Selena covered her mouth trying to muffle her giggles.
"You Jonases are such nerds!" she laughed, looking over at Joe. He just rolled his eyes and looked away.
"Harsh man!" I told him, standing up for Selena.
"Nah, its fine. He's jealous. I know how it feels. I'd be frustrated too." she said looking at her hands in her lap.
"You're jealous?" I asked surprised. Just then Joe kicked me in the shin and gave me a "you're stupid" look. "Dude! What was that for?" I yelled waking Demi.
"Nothing." he grinned. I have such an immature brother.
"Who are you jealous of?" I asked, turning back to Selena. She leaned forward, looking at Demi. Demi gave me a worried look. Selena was jealous of her best friend? Wait...What?!
