I loved this song for years and then discovered he did a Part 2 on B-side of another later single. It wasn't a new version of the same tune, but an extension of the first one.

I really don't know how can anybody compare Johnny Rivers with Scott McKenzie. Scott's voice and arrangments are so beautiful that let any J.Rivers' song years back.
