But not us Canadians who pay for them too. In Canada each tax payer pays 96p per year. That close to a £! You guys only pay 62p and its your Royal family! As Canadians the Royal family in your country costs more for our tax payers, and thats wrong! This last Royal visit cost our tax payers an extra $2,500,000. Yet we have people starving in the streets, and it's like this in other countries too! WTF?

@thewhistler The British Royal family cost the British taxpayer less than £1 a year to maintain. Considering the amount of money they bring into the country via tourism, it's a small price to pay.

@lisbona1454 unfortunatly us Canadians get ripped off by this too, so yeah it is aimed alot farther then that.

Infact if you look at the numbers us Canadians pay about the same per citizen as you guys in the UK for YOUR Royal family that is forced upon us. Then when they come visit every 10 years or so we throw money at them to pay all their expenses. Yet the majority of our country doesn't agree with it, and we are forced to pay it by the aristrocrates up top.

British people are so fucking stupid. They practically worship William and Kate. Great Britain needs to get with the program and abolish it's monarchy because it's not like they do anything anyways.

@franneale1234 Whats the problem? What I said is the truth. The UK today is a joke. All you guys have is to cling on to history. And your history is one of subjugation of poor people from poor countries...nothing to be proud of. Unlike the great United States, we help spread democracy and we helped Europe get back on its feet after WW2. We are one great nation.
