  • hi. I found your videos very cool, congratulations ... could tell me the name of the foam and freaked out for what it is that makes it bigger?

  • @pedroflyergt

Thanks! It's just expanding foam. Since I live in Germany a brand or a product name wouln't not help you. But you surely will find it at your home depot. And it's just water! :)

  • Ganz tolle Video! Hast du gut erklaert. Love it!

  • @2techshop

    Vielen Dank! :)

  • your truely a woman with artistic skills, I'v used the canned foam befor to make stuff, but I like your idea of useing the cardbord to help find where you plan to cut, instead of free handing it all. I bet it saves alot of time for the fine tuning of a item.

  • @RobbieHooker

Thanks a lot! I'm really not a good scupter and the card board helps me a lot to find the right shape. Hope this helps you, too! :)

  • why would i want to follow you make crap like this stupid bitch

  • Great video! If you're interested, an electric knife makes foam carving real easy too. I like to use coarse sandpaper (with or without some sort of sanding block) too for sculpting out, it goes pretty quick. The electric knife takes some practice, but for $12 it was a pretty good investment. Keep up the great work, love the videos.

  • Wow you can carve very fast.

I do have a suggestion though. Why not make a wooden enclosure that you can use that would allow you to use 1/10 of the foam. Seems to me that you wasted almost 90% of the foam when you could have sprayed a much thinner layer. When you first started, I thought you were going to make something very large. I was amazed at how little foam you had left.

If you can understand my logic and can figure out how to do this I think that it would be more economical.

  • I loveee your tutorial and I can't believe it took me this long to find you. Would've made my prop making so much easier if I knew your tutorial. Anyways It's really great you are sharing your passion and I can't wait to try it out for myself!!!

  • would you be able to use a dremel to shape this?

  • @pedroflyergt

The foam is called "Great Stuff" in the U.S. $5 a can at Lowes or Home Depot.

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh is that the soul caliber!?

  • thats awesome!! is the foam light or rather heavy?!

  • Can you use sandpaper on the foam?

  • nice video. I especially liked the time lapse. You are doing good work.
