The fifth-ranked Montana Grizzlies ended the regular season with a dominating 35-3 victory over the cross-state rival Montana State Bobcats in their 108th meeting. The Grizzlies surprised the record crowd of 25,629 at Washington Grizzly Stadium when they took the field in their copper and gold throwback jerseys.
The Grizzlies were able to put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter when they put together a 20-play, 98-yard touchdown drive that took nearly 10 minutes off the clock, capped with a Chase Reynolds 15-yard rushing touchdown.

And the funny thing is that when you end up beating them in a preseason butt squeaker every 15 years or so you storm the field and dump kool-aid all over the coach and then we have to listen to the obnoxius rants of how you came within 15 points of one team that played this other team past regulation into overtime that lost to another team that beat a big 12 team once out of 40 straight contests.
