I have a Ruger Super Black hawk 44 mag and it does not come out the side at all. Now when they first came out they did have a large gap and that was corrected over time. Either way I think it dangerous to shoot a gun like that. I will wait till they correct the issue. My 44 mag you can not event get a razor blade to fit in between the cylinder the and the barrel. Their gap must be 4 to 6 thousands or more. Good luck

@rtsmiller Flames always "shoot out the side" on a magnum revolver. There has to be a gap or the cylinder wouldn't turn.
