This song came about after continuous requests from David Olivarez for me to right a "happy song" ala Fito Olivares, because all my songs were sounding too "love sick"...Well, this is the best I came up with. Though it doesn't hold a candle to any of Mr Fito Olivares's songs, it is the "happiest" song I've ever written. Thanks mostly to Michael Martinez's peppy accordion work. Hey Mike, funny what some Long John Silver's hush puppies can do...lol
