it's cool but it would be a lot cooler if you could actually use it as a control surface. Replacing the DJ's knobs and other hardware has to be used in live performances. Like I said it's cool nad close but not quite there.

I'd be interested to either build one or buy one if some smart dude can put the hardware and software together.
As reference search for 'usine' here at YT and see what they do with a touch surface for music.

anyway, Microsoft surface is only sold to companies and is usually around 15,000USD

I think the guy in the beginning that made an "X" also wanted to create a square. :-p
I love the way this expands the imagination of how many different ways "touchscreen" interfaces can be utilized.
