well baka sa una lang yan.ako dyan ko binili ung ps3 ko tpos na sira yung lense after 3 months lng then pinagawa ko sa kanila pinalitan yung lense na ayos naman.after a a week hndi na nag reread .pina check ko sa ibang shop.luma daw yung lense na pinalit sa aken dyan sa eyo binayaran ko sila ng more than 5k dun tpos luma pla yung pinalit.mga mandaraya mga yan.dami na mga complains dyan sa shop na yan dude.ingat ka lng baka pina padama ka lng dyan..

My PS3 lens gave out after only 6 months or so. Now that I've seen this I wonder if it is the pausing. I habitually leave my PS3 on 24/7 paused while I work on my computer. Not sure what pausing does to the lens, but this is really good to know so I don't mess it up again lol.

dude i know this video is way old but thankyou i finally figured out how i blew out my lens! i would pause a game for hours and i didnt know that was the cause of it! thx again for uploading this :D!

Umm.. Are there any video's to replace a 120GB PS3? I need to have mines replaced now. It might be due to dust and so on but also due to me playing regular DVD's in the Blue-ray. I understand that now it could factor a problem.

my 60gig 1st generation ps3 freezes when i play some games. it can play music CD but CANNOT play blu ray disk. Do I have to change the whole drive or just the lens?
