  • @DieFatorLiveThin dude i think you're missing the point. This connector was released ASAP when Microsoft released Outlook 2010. This is totally salesforce responding to ensure their customers can continue to function. Every piece of software anywhere in the history of technology goes through iterations as developers have time to perfect features. Keep your pants on and read the release notes.

  • more half-baked development from SFDC. You can no longer sync tasks. You can't sync on a schedule. You can not longer selectively sync on a contact by contact basis. Nor can you select which account a new Outlook contact should belong to; Instead, the contact becomes an 'Unresolved Item' and a clumsy two step resolution process is introduced. Google integration is similarly half-assed. SFDC: the common denominator for businesses who don't care.

  • This really is a game changer! My Business Development Team are gonna love it!

  • Yeah it automatically syncs if you click their send/add button and same with recieved emails. Needs to be completely automated.

  • I've found it simple and like it. Not sure about KW6000's limitations? I see he is subscribed to 3 Microsoft CRM sites -- I guess that explains it. My experience with Dynamics was not good, love salesforce!

  • This is such a step forward for the integration. As an admin at my last two jobs, I struggled with getting users up and running. Now that this is my product (#disclosure I now work at Salesforce), I'm excited to see so many customers using this already.

  • It all sounds so simple... until you read the limitations.
