You can make a good background flash (to make it look like the flash is reflecting off the walls) with a strobe light or something.

You need to add smoke, and blend the muzzle flash into the video better, as at the moment it is too prominent, and looks really really fake. Also don't have the flash quite as close to the muzzle of the gun, and add edge blur and distortion.

@ja1234567890100 Lol dude, the muzzle flash isn't even that visible in real life, but I do agree with you. It needs smoke, and lightning effects.

good effects, what program are you using? Try some dynamic, reactive lighting to sell the effect a bit more.

um ad some smoke and try for every time you shoot a muzzle flash because in some parts there weren't there
