This is the first flight with the matching tails. The kite is 2 meters wide and 2.5 meters long. The tube tails start with an eight inch diameter opening at the front, taper down to two inches, and are 74' 9" long. (Sorry for the mixed units of length.)
In this video, I wanted to check out the movement of the trailing edges and tips of the kite. Without the tails, they tended to jump up and down a bit, but it does that much less with the tails.
I was using 110 meters of 450 pound test Dacron flying line, and the wind was about 15-20 kph.
