My opinion, as someone with close ties to Polish Orthodox Jews. It's a community that is closed, protecting itself. They're very nice to me (I'm agnostic borderline atheist) but not one of them, and I can feel it, it's palpable. It's a shame, cos I never thought I'd respect any extremely religious people, but I see their love for each other and envy it, but I also despise it, because it decides who is more important than others. This closed community attitude is why people don't trust them.
