You wasted like over 30 Liters of water & maybe much more (water that could have been saved......you didn't use the water except at the end!)

Terrible!!! You should be Eco-friendly......

I appreciate your concern on the water. The problem is not the technique, but rather the type of scrub sinks used in the facility in which the video was recorded. These are turned on and off manually. If you turned them off during the scrub to save water, you would contaminate yourself. Newer models have built in motion sensors - these do not. Thanks!

Looks like every scrubbing technique is different. Why isn't this standardized?

@docbybay It is standardized as far as guidelines and recommendations from AST, CDC, AORN, etc. are concerned. The problem is that few follow the correct rules and even fewer are taught them correctly. Hence, the reason I created this video. It follows to exact technical recommendations although some nuances may differ from facility to facility depending on the equipment and supplies that are available.
