Freedom Ministries was founded in 1981 by David Hogan. Starting off with nothing but a word from God and a vision of the area he began preaching from village to village. The work began in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. From this beginning until now there have been over six hundred churches pioneered and countless villages have been brought the Gospel. The mountainous region where many of the churches exist is a harsh area with few roads and many villages only recently having electric power. The primary focus of this ministry is to go into villages and regions where there is no established work of the Gospel. There to seek souls, healings and deliverances for the kingdom of God. Although having reached into many countries the main area of the missionary work is along the eastern side of the country of Mexico. With churches extending from the border with the United States all the way to the Guatemalan border in the state of Chiapas, Mexico.
This work seeks to establish churches, train leaders and enable national pastors to spread the Gospel. Reaching out now to a third generation since its beginning, the work is a lifelong commitment for the missionaries who work there. There are now many national missionaries who are being sent out from their local churches to other Indian tribes in Mexico. God has backed this ministry with signs following. There has been miraculous healings of every nature. There are testimonies of every body part having been healed or created after fasting, prayer and the laying on of hands. There have been over four hundred people that have been raised from the dead by the power of God. Of these, on twenty-eight different occasions to date, David Hogan was present.
The rest of which, God responded with mercy and life at the request of pastors, missionaries, housewives, leaders and many other Christians throughout the work who prayed.
To begin churches is only the start. The work currently is reaching out into the many thousands of villages and mountain valleys that have not been reached. To care and safeguard the established churches and continue to press outward is the continuing vision.

Diese Mischreligion prägt den Alltag der meisten Indianer bis heute.
Ein Mann aus Texas ist daran, dies zu ändern und den verachteten Ureinwohnern Mexikos neue Perspektiven zu vermitteln. David Hogan begann vor bald 30 Jahren, den Indianer-Stämmen das Evangelium zu sagen und die Kraft Gottes zu zeigen. Die beiden Dinge - Verkündigung der Rettung durch Jesus und Wunder - gehörten laut dem Neuen Testament in der Tätigkeit der Apostel im 1. Jahrhundert zusammen.

David Hogan is an awesome man of God. He's been doing what he does for 30 years or more, and the video exists to prove it. Plenty of his stories come from the U.S. including hurricane Katrina stories, some people just obviously haven't watched enough to know it. God works through him migthtily. I've never seen him out of hundreds of videos I've watched ask for money or even mention the name of his ministry. Some people better be careful what they say. We will ALL be judged. Not just him.

David needs to stay in Mexico. He has been telling his "miracle" stories for many years and not one of them are about something that happened in the US. People in the US don't have enough faith. People who have gone on short term mission trips to his place over and over have never seen any of the miracles in Mexico either.

I thank God for someone like David Hogan who is a brutally honest person that loves Jesus. He has backed up what he says with action. I am a missionary in the Philippines, and David Hogan always encourages me as i walk in the fire of God reaching lost souls and making disciples, Mat 28:18-20 and Mk16:15-20. May whoever reads this also be encouraged to follow Jesus with all your being and obey Mat 28:18-20, and Mk16:15-20. God bless you and have an awesome day in Christ.

I have met, been to David's work in Mexico twice, and worked with two family's that work with him. He IS the real deal. He regularly fasts everyother day, sometimes more, but rarely less. He's committed his heart and life to this rejected indian people of Mexico. I've seen/met many people of God, but he just loves Jesus and wants to see Him move on those people's behalf- he has a fire in his heart about it that fuels his discipline to fast and pray and go after God for this people group.
