  • Con los anos, Vikki, se ve mejor y canta mejor que la otra.

    :)

  • But I adore Dionne's version!

  • Shirley & Vikki two incredible singers, luckily have been enjoying their tremendous recordings since the sixties, experienced awesome concerts too many times to count & they are still in great form...Bravo to these great singers!

  • They are two very fine singers.. but different.. I happen to like them both.

  • In my opinion Shirley attacks this song, Perry Como's gentle lilting version is much kinder to the ears and gentler to the soul. Vicki Carr is better but still too dramatic. Jim Pinnington version is really nice

  • As a singer and a voice teacher; I have been influenced more by Vicki Carr than Bassey. I have often compared the 2 as they have similar styles and I point this out to my students all the time especially when I am teaching vibrado. My preference is Ms. Carr as she is more of a tender singer but they are both spectacular. In the top of the voices of our time. Vicki Carr seems to have disappeared over the last few years and I am so happy you tube has picked up so much of her material.

  • @Babyhowdy233 that may be true for alot of songs, but I think here it clearly isn't. She sings the emotions very distinctly here, and raises and lowers her voice at the right moments, in fact, isn't very loud for much of the song.

  • @yoryi1960 Tonto es debatir sobre ese punto.

  • I think that Carr's version is vastly superior to Bassey's because Carr's voice is more tender and delicate and convey's the song's emotions more readily to one's ear. Bassey's voice in almost everything she sings is just to loud and strident;it hits the ear like a slap in the face everytime.

  • Love this song reminds me when I was in college the bonding we had with my closes friend never adull moment together

  • Vicki to vegas.

  • It's unfair to draw comparisons with two iconic singers. Each in their own right world class. Shirley I guess would come out the winner as her career has spanned almost six decades, and the voice is still as strong as ever. Vicki Carr also

renowned as a high class International cabaret artist, but was rarely seen on television. I don't know whether she's still alive?
