http://www.earth-touch.com They're nature's ultimate recyclers! Watch these huge dung beetles as they get to work on a pile of elephant dung. There may be plenty of it to go around but the territorial animals still clash over the best dung balls!

  • Not as visceral as seeing mighty lions taking down a prey 4 times their size, but it is a very informative and indeed necessary 3.5 minute segment on NATURE and its incredible vicissistudes. The world would fall silent & everything will fall apart when all the beetles, butterflies, cicadas, maggots, bacteria, earthworms, termites, flies, ants, bees, frogs, and millions of other small, seemingly insignificant animals and insects no longest exist in this majestic pale blue dot...

  • @HenryDavidT Here here!!! I couldn't agree with you more Henry! If all the mammals were to suddenly disappear the earth would carry on with barely any major ecological change. However, if we were to loose all the insects, well then we would be 6 foot deep in faeces and rotting carcasses on a planet with no floral diversity
