testing memory cards in a Canon 50D

Laxar 256 Mb Held 8 photos.
The 2 and 8 GB carbs was tested at 60 seconds each
Toshiba 2GB held 24
Transcend 8Gb held 36
SanDisk Extreme Ducati edition 8 GB held 93


This is not Science or anything just wanted to test it out lol. I am doing the text with a Canon 50D I have it on "sports" with ISO 1600 and RAW .

I really don't like the first one or second but keep them for a backup.
The second one I like to use for famiily photo's and the last one I love and will use for sports.


If you are not shooting sports the second will work fine for you . I have not had any problems with the card at all and expect to use it for a long time to come.

If you are shooting sports I would recommand the 3rd card it cost a great deal more but it is a great card and worth the extra price.

also the Transcend will be great if you have just a point and shoot camera where speed is not a issue.
