@ascott1980 very kool!!

Right, I see your point. Still a little irritating though. Even though the last few may still be putting their bags in the overhead bins there is no need for, "if you have just joined us", because even the last people have obviously just joined. The "if" is to denote ambiguity, but in this case there is none because everyone has just joined the plane, unless the announcement is being broadcast in the departures hall too. Anyway just a comment on language more than anything else.

@STColeridge22 ya but this is during boarding !!
-
Um what they mean by "if" is that they make this announcement 3-4 times during boarding. The "if" means if you haven't heard the PA before
-
@STColeridge22 No, I am guessing that this flight had more than one stop. As a result, it may have picked up more passengers at some point.

crew do not make PAs up, it's all writen down and they simply follow the procedure and read PAs book , her PA is very professional , good

@djtechnofreak No, you don't understand me. "If you have just joined us." Of course they have, they have just got on the plane, haven't they? So why say "If"? It's just one of those annoying little phrases that people say when they don't even think of the meaning. Derrr.
I know the lady who was making that announcement, I did my training with her!
