James I so much appreciate your well presented tour of Judy Chicago's art work "the Dinner Party". I don't travel much, but recently took up an intro. Art class in my nearby community college and heard of J. Chicago.
You have helped me familiarize with her work, and thanks to you I know I will do very well in my next test.
Great Work!

"Ginasart" I love your innocence, truth in saying you're squeemish re: body parts. It is a strange thing that something carefully designed & "GOOD" as God made creates modesty in most people; Adam & Eve sinned, needed to "cover up", recall... But this modesty is REAL and also GOOD and also GOD ORDAINED. In fact, there is universal feel for what God means in Jeremaiah 13:26 when he says he will expose Judah's sin by "lifting skirts over head." I worry Judy Chicago worships the creation, not God.
