I remember waking up at 4am hearing the sleet hit my window and I walked outside and our flower beds were white. The sleet was mixing with snow. It was really cool. It actually stayed for most of the day too. :)

That's pretty amazing to get something like that on camera in that area. It doesn't surprise me though that it happened.
With Ocala being inland and in the northern part of Florida, I'd say this is a once every 10-15 year occurance, but the flakes usually melt so quick that nobody may notice as it happens
