This is a film made for my final project in Digi Media intro.
The story of Ico - is a stop motion animation made with black paper cut-outs and a light box. The characters are made with simple joints, about 10-15, and the final animation is made up of just over 2,000 individual photos. The photos were animated at 10 frames per second using iStopmotion, and later edited with iMovie over a period of 4 weeks.
It was inspired by the work of Lotte Reiniger, who was the pioneer and master of silhouette film making.
And the story was taken from one of my favourite games, Ico - because of it's traditional storybook feel, as well as it's ethereal atmosphere.

@Zovex11 Hey thanks a lot! ICO is has always been one of my favourite games as well, and it was a lot of fun to try to tell the story through silhouettes for the first time :)
