THIS IS MY AMATEUR RADIO STATION, NARRATED MY YOURS TRULY JIM, WB5OXQ. A KENWOOD TS-B 2000 TRANSCIEVER CAPABLE OR OPERATING ON 160-6 METERS PLUS 2 METERS AND 70CM BANDS ALL MODES AND IS CAPABLE OF CROSS BAND OPERATION. THE TEN TEC TITAN AMPLIFIER USES A PAOR OF 3CX800 CERAMIC TUBES AND CAN EASILY LOAF AT THE LEGAL LIMIT OF 1.5 KILOWATTS. THE ANTENNAS ARE 1/2 WAVE DIPOLES FOR 75 AND 40 METERS AND A FORCE 12 MODEL C3 TRAPLESS TRIBAND BEAM FOR 20-15- AND 10 METERS AND SINCE IT IS TRAPLESS IT CAN BE USED ON 17 AND 12 METERS WITH THE TUNER. FOR 2 METERS I HAVE A DUAL POLARITY 10 ELEMENT YAGI AT 60' AMD A DUAL BAND 2 METER/440 VERTICAL AT 70'.
I AM GLAD TO NARRATE THIS VIDEO SINCE I HAVE A REQUEST TO HEAR MY BASS VOICE. YES I HAVE BEEN A DJ SINCE 1965 AND CURRENTLY OWN AT THE HOP A MOBILE DJ SERVICE.

Amateur radio stations can only communicate with other amateur stations and cannot play music. We use several short wave bands and are free to use any open frequency. The amateur bands start at 1.8mhz to 2.0, 3.5 to 4, 7.9-7.3, and on up. YOu would need a receiver capable of receiving those frequencies and also capable or receiving single sideband transmissions. It is therefore unlikely you would find me on the air. I can reach stations worldwide most of the time.

Exceptional rig! It must be nice to live in a community that allows the installation of a good antenna. Most of us in yuppy-ville don't have that luxury. Thank you for a well informed video. '73
