Hesung Chun Koh, Ph.D., is the Co-Founder and Chair of East Rock Institute and Director Emerita, Research, of the Human Relations Area Files at Yale University. She is the author or editor of five books and numerous articles on various aspects of Korean culture, society, women, information systems, and comparative culture research. She is also the mother of Harold Hongju Koh, Legal Advisor of the US Department of State and former dean of Yale Law School, and Howard Kyongju Koh, Assistant Secretary of Health for the US Department of Health.
