I never use weights, in my opinion it's better. You get stuck on less and the bass can't feel the weight if he picks it up and swims with it. I use Zoom worms watermelon color and I use them Texas rig but mostly wacky rig, wacky rig gets A LOT of big bass.

You can do both depending on how you want to fish it. I like to change it up to see what the fish are preferring on a given day. If they are really active, you can speed it up. If they aren't hitting aggresively, there are times where I'll fish it very slowly - just twitiching it.

Yeah the Senko's have enough wieght where you can rig them on a worm hook with no weight. So like you said, a texas rig without the bullet.

awesome fish... i got a question though... when fishing plastics i noticed that my senko or whatever im fishing doesnt run up the line like that... does that mean im rigging them wrong?thanks

No it doesn't mean you're rigging it wrong. Sometimes the way the bass hits makes the worm slide off the hook and up the line. No particular reason why it happened. I was swimming it so probably a better chance of it happening that way as opposed to rigging it wacky.
