After updating the sound set with MTH Electric trains new sound file, I gave her a run with a cut of 19 Atlas O 40' woodside reefers and an MTH CA-1 caboose to follow........

  • I'm in LOVE!

What control system are you using?

I have a Chessie logo framed like your's below the track. But I made mine using counted cross stitch, from scratch!

  • My wife is a life long cross sticher also... I have 6 different cross stiched by her for me, the Chessie, Illinois Central, NYC, Amtrak, PRR and Santa Fe. Nice to have the whole family involved! I am using DCS with a Z-4000 transformer. I use the Record Playback for filming sessions, adds a new dimension I like. Glad you enjoyed it! More to come!!

  • Love the improved whistle.... NOW, Will it pull?

*"I think it`s time to get one"!

Thank`s again for this. Tom :)

  • Hi Tom, glad I could help with your future empire additions. My opinion is that it will pull like most of the heave steam engines I have 50 or so cars should be no problem. BIG curves are required, like the Big Boy, it looks awkward to me on 0-72 curves, IMHO...

  • Sounds are very good.

  • WHISTLE IS SPOT ON

  • When i get my MTH HO UP #9000, i need some information of where you got that sound file.

  • i love the whistle!!!!!

  • Nice! Two comments, please. At slowest speeds, the exhaust is representative of a 9000 well out of time, they would have been much more even when recently shopped or valves set. But I still really enjoyed the sound overall! If it's possible to "update" & make changes, I'd hope a recording of the correct Star Brass 5-chime whistle could replace the present one as it's a bit too low in pitch, sounding more like a 6-chime. Still, this is a great sound! Thanks for sharing.

  • OK, *You know, I need to tell you how lucky we are to have people like you here, I LOVE your video`s, and better than that "your demeanor" :) Thanks so much my friend! Tom :)

  • I still haven't been able to make a railroader out my wife. I think she still beleieves this is just another phase, like a little red sports car or something like that.
