@KafirsWithHarbitude I didn't miss the point, she did. And I did watch the rest, it doesn't change anything. The "holy" bible advocates slavery and misogyny, especially the subjugation of women by men. In fact, it advocates a lot of stupid shit, but people get it right when they say we just shouldn't accept those behaviors in a modern era. That's the only difference between Islam, the cultural acceptance of tenets/dogma. Point: they both stem from absurdities.

There are things in the Bible which were adapted to the time they were revealed, and some things are just moral truths. Maybe everyone else surrounding the ancient Hebrews were a lot worse, and the Old Testament was an improvement over previous lawlessness and paganism (including human sacrifices and sex rituals).

But the moral example of Jesus Christ is valid and applicable for all time.

@KafirsWithHarbitude Take the bible as a whole... when you do it's a bitter pill to swallow. I cough it back up. The old testament laws and position of god never changes, Jesus confirmed it at the sermon on the mount. You can have the sweet all you want... but you have to acknowledge all the sour. Once you figure that out, you'll know what I'm talking about. Hits and misses... hits and misses.

@zackersquackers Of course it doesn't change, but there's the Old Covenant and the New Covenant in the blood of Jesus Christ. I am glad I don't live under the Old Testament Mosaic Laws, but they were for a specific period in a specific area, for a specific purpose. The sour is understandable in context.

God's idea of morality doesn't change, but Jesus has already paid the punishment that we deserved, so for example, adultery is still bad, but we don't need to stone those who commit it.

Wow can people be so hateful in 911 a american made group with fake people that say they are Muslim killed around 2000 people. The USA killed over 11000 humans kids to elders in Afghanistan. So total amount of people USA have killed 13000 people and counting and Muslims 0 people.
