I would guess this is more difficult than chess. The degrees of freedom involved is staggering and predicting where bals will be at any point in the future must drop to an accuracy of near zero when t grows past even 30 secs. Or perhaps, virtually impossible to predict a strategy after three shots if more than two other balls are involved in any given shot. Yes, this looks to be fascinating.

@lastmiles We do have a physics engine that does a pretty good job at predicting events. But it is still difficult to predict it well enough to see many shots ahead.
