Kangaroos hanging around close to home. An American friend of mine (who I will not mention to protect his ignorance) didn't believe me when I said we had Kangaroos hanging around town.
@Skitch777 : Generally NO, and no one wants to either. We aren't gun-happy in Australia, but there are licences issued to trained professionals in country Australia to keep numbers down. Whenever there is grass Kangaroos breed all year round. Then when there is a drought thousands die of starvation, so culling is a more humane way to protect them.

Out our way that "male" is only a joey fresh from the pouch. We chase the real ones with semi-trailers !!!

Speaking if how big a Roo is, did you hear about the kangaroo that was hit by a foreign compact?
Had to go to the vet to have it dislodged.
