LOL it kicked on with just a bit over current then settled down. Nice generator but I will keep my Solar panels, lead acid batteries and 9000 watt inverter. Quiet and less maintenance and in a crisis situation I won't need to be dependant on petro

oh one more question
did the generac have an auto run cycle that ran every week or did you have to do that yourself?

@HERPDEDERP49 The auto run cycle is pre programmed, but you can change it to whatever day and time you want, or turn it off if you want. We let ours run every week, it doesn't seem to use much fuel and we always know it is ready to go.

out of all your experience what kind do you like more....besides the fact that you bought a generac....like what was your second choice?

@HERPDEDERP49 Hey! Well, we just went with what the electrician said was the best. He had the same model at his own home. He said Generac's were the best ones on the market in his opinion.
