The Rockin' Berries - Medley

Two tracks from the sixties featuring the Rockin' Berries , He's in town reached number 3 in the British Charts in 1964 and Poor Mans Son reached number 4 in 1965 ,with a few pics of the sixties to help jog the memory , hope you enjoy them as much as i did on hearing them again .

glad to see some people listening to the classics, my dad was in the berries, he played a gig recently at brum rocks in birmingham town hall.....

they are still play concerts in the UK and you can see them now on their own myspace page. The band has 2 original members -

includes Geoff Turton who sang on the original hits

you are correct in your thinking ,The Rocking Berries carried on for many years after the sixties on the cabaret circuit , these came from one of those in the late seventies if MY memory serves me correct .

When were these versions recorded? These aren't the hit versions from the 1960s...they sound like remakes from a later point in time.
