Half the time (seems like mostly on sunny days) the haight is alive and fun like this, but then the other half of the time (especially on cloudy days) it can be sketchy and downright scary around there

what does a hippie in Golden Gate Park do when he/she goes on a bad trip, suffers a full-blown panic attack, but everywhere around him is a million other hippies high and thus no one is sane enough to help him/her? and then the hippie later goes crazy as a result of that traumatising experience and becomes completely petrified of drugs, does that denounce him as a hippie? does that mean he/she doesn't advocate Peace and Love?

I don't understand all this hippie hating. The hippies I've met have all been friendly hardworking people who did a lot of charity work and who just loved to have a good time. There's nothing like a family jam man!!!!
