A veteran chaster fan since late 2006, early 2007. Been a fan of her since the original "Coolsmurf" vid. Back then Coolsmurf's video when first viewed it only had 500k viewers and the only other vids available were her singing karaoke and local shows in the Phillipines. I am not a filipino, I am however, an admire of her great talent. She shall not be denied that. Credit goes to a5sk1ck .
Here we experience an amazing rendition of Celine Dion's music done by Charice. She is destined for superstardom beyond those of who we know as superstars alive today. She reminds me in her live performances the likes of MJ. She reminds of Aretha in her early days. Mariah in her first album, Whitney in her prime. Difference between Charice and those I have mentioned? She has been performing in this manner consistently and "awe" since she was 7. This is beyond comprehension at the tender age of 16. Feel the music. She was born to entertain. She is beyond compare.
Fantastic ! first time i seen this one and Charice is fantastic. when she sings i stare and rewind, pause, rewind and replay, etc.

@LifeLiving4 Tough love crossed with too much freedom. In the west, it's considered rude to eat while walking. When I was in NY, my mom said to cover my food with the brown paper bag. Here, we eat anywhere even in public transport.

@xbass02 I know what you mean, this was shot before her transformation into a superstar. If you've seen this wedding performance, watch?v=5iK1VSnXjt8 I understood why people didn't seem to notice her, but I was still incredulous as to how they CAN'T hear how brilliant she is. These days, she simply takes over any stage she performs in and just claims her audience as her own. Can't wait to watch her on Glee!

@aribancale I can see where you are coming from. its like, getting good grades, everyone can get it. it's expected of you to get good grades. its that tough love thing, right?

@xbass02 the one thing charice has if anything proven to me, she will outdo any given song she set her hearts too.

Actually, I did originally consider that. I am also a long time fan, but I would never get "used to Charice's brilliance and ... expect it from her". To me, whether it is a first performance or the 100th pergformance... an exceptional performance deserves an exceptional response... always. But then, that is just MY culture.

@LifeLiving4 To us, singing and listening to good singers is a way of life. If you notice most of Charice's Philippines performance, you will rarely see a standing ovation. This is not because we are rude and unappreciative, it is because we are used to Charice's brilliance and already expect it from her. I must admit, we are a tough audience. And, that is why we have produced a great superstar that is Charice. Go Chasters! At the top baby!
