I am from Copenhagen/Denmark
and Bill Haley has always been a big star in Denmark,and performed here
many times.

Where are you from? In Germany Bill Haley was more popular than Elvis in 1955/1956. The first rock song my parents heard on the radio was Bill`s "mambo rock" in 1955. It wasn`t called Rock and Roll at that time. 10 years after the end of World War II. They called it fox or boogie.
