Do I have to use white?
-NO, it can be any color. The ink will show up better on lighter-colored nails.

Can I use a magazine?
-I'm not sure; I haven't tried it. I don't think the ink will come off as much.

Can I use comic strips or pictures in the newspaper?
-Yes, if from a newspaper.

Does the ink come off with nailpolish remover?
-Yes, it will.

Do I have to use a top coat?
-Yes, I HIGHLY recommend it.

Can the newspaper be double sided with ink?
-Yes, it can. It will dye your fingers though.

if you make sure your nails are nourished from the inside and out (hand/cuticle cream and drinking water) they wont be as brittle...and if you deal with paper and/or hot water youll have to hydrate your hand/cuticles even more....

and i actually love china glaze.... the nail hardener in their polish really works...
