The salmon run at Chehalis, where the Harrison River meets the mighty Fraser, is done. As always, the sheer volume of protein brings wild bald eagles, both adult and juvenile, in the thousands to feast on salmon carcasses, jostle with each other, play in the winter light, and otherwise act as eagles do.
@lsoph9 We stopped on the road out of Harrison, just over the bridge. Then we drove straight down to the riverbank (pictured in the first few shots) where I was able to set up the tripod properly. The "eagle tree" is a tiny ways down that road. I think the cars sound loud because I had the microphone turned up, I wanted to capture the eagle calls.

I hear a lot of cars where did you shoot this video? i was there last weekend...did not see as many as you did but still a lot. i have a video on my channel....
