Lyrics:
All I want is the best for our lives my dear,
and you know my wishes are sincere.
Whats to say for the days I cannot bare.

A Sunday smile you wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang.
A Sunday smile you wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang.
A Sunday smile and we felt true. (and)

We burnt to the ground
left for you to admire
with buildings inside church of white.
We burnt to the ground left a grave to admire.
And as we reach for the sky, reach the church of white.

A Sunday smile you wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang.
A Sunday smile you wore it for a while.
A Sunday mile we paused and sang.
A Sunday smile and we felt true. (and)

  • ***-3

  • Oh Beirut... You are so amazing...simply the sun to my shine-3

  • I admire the live performances, however the music kinda reminds me of church hymnals. Good music nonetheless.

  • Too much talent to be true!!! This is brilliant!

  • I was in a Bar in San Francisco, CA and OK, I was shitfaced on premium bourbon and Sunday Smile can on the Jukebox. I heard the song and started choking up when I heard the horns (its like the horns were crying like I was). I had left Jennifer in Korea, pleading me not to go. I professed my love and my pledge I would return. I called her cell phone and it was disconnected. I'll never see her again and this song is now our song. Oh Well!!!

  • Great song from a great band.. Nice video as well, which would have been far better without the annoying "ringtone" advertisement bottom left.

  • It's Sunday, and I'm smiling.

  • @joquijada it's because you haven't heard my accent !

  • @gerrybaggins you could have fooled me
