These six cues from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl cover a rather fun sequence early in the film in which Jack manages to get himself arrested by saving the governor's daughter, escape without hurting anyone, win a swordfight against the local blacksmith's apprentice without hurting HIM...and be knocked out by the blacksmith himself just in time for the British soldiers to capture him. The music was provided by the good folks of Media Ventures--Hans Zimmer and company, credited to Klaus Badelt--and most of it can be traced back to earlier MV scores. But I love it to death. So shoot me.
My piano arrangement is solely by ear, and I don't have sheet music for it available at this point, but it may happen in the future. Enjoy, comment, and rate! I appreciate constructive criticism.
Cue breakdown time!
1. Saving Elizabeth: This unreleased cue, the end of which I've skipped here, covers everything from when Norrington realizes Elizabeth has fallen in the water to when Jack brings her up to the dock and resuscitates her.
2. "The Black Pearl": Should really be called "Jack's Escape" or something, but whoever titled the album tracks apparently forgot to watch the film. Jack uses Elizabeth as leverage to make an ingenious escape possible, flying/whirling/sliding/running into town and into the smithy.
3. Smithy in the Smithy: Forgive my title...Jack refers to himself as "Smith...or Smithy, if you like" earlier in the film. Couldn't resist, mate. Unreleased, though statements of the same theme can be heard in "Fog Bound" and other tracks.
4. Crossing Blades: The duel between Jack and Will begins with this unreleased cue. The choreography and the music work together perfectly.
5. "Will and Elizabeth": Classic track title. Elizabeth isn't even the freaking scene in the first place! The duel continues between Jack and Will, culminating with Jack kicking away a very sawdusty Will's weapon and pulling a gun on him. In the silence before the next cue, the blacksmith knocks him out before the one bullet can be fired.
6. The Mutt with the Keys: A great gag from the Disneyland attraction is featured after Jack, now conscious, is taken to the jail. Unreleased.
I spend 100% of my time around a piano since my mother is a piano teacher, we have a bösendorfer Imperial Grand, your playing is INCREDIBLE but the piano in your music needs tuning.

@brigadeir998 Yeah, it's pretty terrible, haha. =P This piano later got tuned, but it still didn't sound great. My most recent videos have been recorded via MIDI and played back with a decent Steinway patch - I think it's an improvement, although I'd obviously rather be playing on a REAL grand that sounds nice. :)

I think it's very clever of you to say "Music by Media Ventures" rather than "Hans Zimmer" or "Klaus Badelt". Over fifteen composers worked on this score, so "By Media Ventures" is the best way to go. Props on that and on this arrangement, sounds really great.

Thanks! =D Yeah, regardless of who it's officially credited to, this score is the result of a lot of composers' work, and Badelt really did not create the whole sound of it all...that was Zimmer, of course.
