Dark Saber is the second part of the Dark Saga trilogy. Two apprentices Sol and Kal are sent on a mission to recover a dangerous imperial weapon infused with the dark side of the force, called the DarkSaber. What side the two work for is not clear and loyalties will be tested after the ultimate betrayal.

"The Dark Saga", is a three part epic drama based in the Star Wars universe between Episodes III and IV. The first part titled "Dark Rising" is an audio play similar to the Star Wars Radio Dramas produced by National Public Radio and is currently in production. Part three, titled "Dark Soul", is currently in preproduction and will be a fully animated action packed climax to the saga.

ermmm.. a darksaber's blade is black :P

basically it's a lightsaber with the absent of light (black beam) :) sort of a weird thing, but thats the beauty with fantasy :)

@Fallerup The special effects tests of a black saber didn't look right so I went with classic evil red.

The Darksaber is not like that at all, its a flat black plasma sword the goes into a point at the end, and it glows white.

@LopezFam4Productions Thanks, I'm glade you liked it so much. Maybe animation lets them play more with colors or maybe my special effects technique for the lightsabers just wasn't the right choice for black. I originally wanted it to be black with red highlights, but it just looked bad. I tried black and white and negative, and it always looks wrong. So I went with classic red. Sometimes you just have to do what works.
