  • That is a Toro 58" Professional. When they first came out they cost $495.00 Yours needs some adjustment and looks like a few pieces are missing. Lots of grass has been groomed by these fine machines.

  • @N3689U Thanks but Oddly enough it had a 70" decal centered on the front when factory paint was seen. Also Stanley the tape measure reads seventy inch from edge to edge of a freshly cut path. Also the Parts manual refers to it as the (70). Yes a Professional series. Yes a few missing parts. Most are inside shop, Notice the steering cable under frame to wheel??? Was factory Rusted steel cable, I went with a sproket and bike chain.

I remember this machine as a kid 30+ yrs ago Uncle wearing it out.

  • @N3689U Adjusted yes once in a while / sharpened..not since I've owned it. Given up for the scrap pile a few times, before I got it. But Like a Timex.. Cost new??? No idea.

Will say Two Fools meet at a Toro dealership/supply house, When someone offered me $600 cash to unload it from the trailor. Now it's sitting under a TARP in the back yard still....

  • @quinnmyster Best of Luck. Who knows what you'll find in the weeds.I've seen a few of these units in the past. E-bay out of Mass. was the 1st, another was in Ky,listed locally. and Just recently I was watching that show "JunkYard Wars" They salvaged the engine from one for their Build project.

Thanks for the interest and the comments.

  • @jseymour69cooper Well I'm no wheres near Tennessee. I'm in WA state. But thanks for the offer. I'd love to get one of those one day

  • @quinnmyster Friend All I can say is drop by &we'll talk. I'd be willing to sale or better yet trade on an old Gravely rider. Like my other videos show.

I saw one of these machines on e-bay go for BIG bucks. I listed mine and Not a single bid.

  • @jseymour69cooper Nice :) I looked in to purchasing one and they are beyond expensive...

  • @quinnmyster Thanks!!!! Was lots of fun just to ride. I'm thinking on the pull be-hind thing now. Less work on motor not hauling my azzz also. Take care.
