@TheLepec93 That is what many would like you to believe. They are completely legal, provided you jump through the hoops the ATF has set up. Basically you have to send in an application form, and $200, and you can purchase one if you are approved. That is a very abbreviated version of what it takes, but it's not too difficult. The real obstacle is that they cost an arm and a leg because of the 1986 ban on importation and manufacture. CHEAP ones are around 5-6 THOUSAND dollars.

dude your so goddamn stupid that was an accident and thats controlling others lives way too much and ive been shooting since i was 3 there is no real difference in the way you handle one from a semiautomatic to a fully automatic and quit using the term macine guns it only makes u look more stupid its fully automatic firearm or selectfire not machine gun and really there is no need to ban this type of stuff accidents happen you just need to accept that
