@pac6010 Yeah. In Florida where I live, the cops aren't going to do anything if you shoot an intruder. They don't even have to come at me or be armed, or anything. They just have to be in your house, or trying to get in, and I could shoot them point blank in the face with a 12 gauge.

@jlf2032 Well it depends how its done, if you shoot em in the back as they run away that's murder, if they come at you its self defense. Plus even if a state says something, its up to that local department to file the charges at their discretion, which in most cases doesn't happen.

@pac6010 Unfortunately there are some states that still say you don't have that right. luckily for me I live in one of the states where you do.
