  • Use more feel. It sounded to robotic to me.

  • @GuitarKylePlays I agree! I was trying too much to replicate the song. But this is like 3 years old so hopefully i've gotten better at that

  • I was very impressed man! What kinda amp do you have?

  • all i use are two practice amps. the bigger one is a Peavey Rage 158 and i sit a tiny little amp, that i got for free when i bought my BC Rich Beast, on top of it. the Beast is real crisp and the Peavey is good for bass so i just connected to two

  • @loganenorris Haha, you probably have. This song is a lot of fun to throw your own improvised shit into. Check out my cover on my page. If you get the chance. It's more of an improvisation than a cover, haha.

  • This video was 2 years ago... aware of that but hey... you never know... those tips are always been a good reminder for me. :D

  • Another thing is to keep the tips of your fingers close to the fretboard at all times. Now.. this isn't completely necessary for every second of your playing... but if you build up from slow and fast ALL while doing this, you'll develope a beneficial habit and can play LOADS better with ease. Playing good is all about playing comfortably. Other than that... good stuff man.

  • Some things that can help with your ability to move around the board if you keep an eye out for them: Slant your fingers... gotta have that neck caressed in your hands bro!

  • i agree

  • you got a good cover going on. but, some constructive criticism: You got all the notes rightand on spot. but thats not what this song is about. try adding a twist to it, of improvising some. that way, your cover is origional. also, it would have sounded better with a less nervous tone, a little deeper with more gain. but, all in all, a very good cover.
