What's with all the backward message stuff? As long as you don't listen to songs backward, they can't hurt you! Besides, the words to this song played backwards are a lot better than most of the poems written by emo/cutter/goth kids these days.

I thought it was funny. You're right, songs can't hurt you, no matter which direction you listen to them. That's a great insight! People who are afraid of "secret backwards messages" are just being silly, and this video was an amusing (to me) way to point that out. It's a cute children's song about pirates, nothing more.
If it makes people laugh, then it's done what I wanted it to do.
