@lordreith I just said that because one of his family members in an interview was talking about how he didn't like to think about it at all. The only time he took a trip back was when he heard "See Emily Play"...in his later years. And really, why did you pick me out of everyone? Have you not noticed the other comments saying the same thing? And no, I didn't know that one of his family members were there. But just because she felt it was a good idea doesn't mean that's what Syd would have wanted

@LucidDream Whether it would have been what he wanted or not is not the point. This was a group of people with mental health issues, in his home town doing what *they* wanted ... Tell me what is wrong with that?

@lordreith yes, this seemed pretty innocent.... lots of Youtube users do Barret music's covers, yes they do this anonymously, but I still do not see why these guys can't do this or any song in the world at all. I don't think Syd would mind very much if he ever cared to know of this. )) Rosemary cared and was Ok about it that's all that matters really.

If Syd had such a horrible time dealing with his musical contributions then he should have returned his royalties. Seems to me like some people here are treating this particular group much the way Syd was treated: with discrimination.
