This photo of the dead Vietnamese Viet Cong guerrila, I took in the village of Duc Pho, right outside our Army base camp. It was near the 1968 Tet Offensive, where almost every morning you could look downtown Duc Pho mainstreet and find at least one fresh corpse lying in the street from fighting during the night. Natives walked past these Viet Cong like every-day roadkill, never wondering whether this person's soul was now in hell or heaven. War in another country, war in the ghetto, war in your marriage and family, war in your local church -- will do that to you, if you are not careful.

  • man, the Vietnam war was an abomination, this man asked how come God is letting it happen, and yet HE is part of it, how arrogant and ignorant. We have free will God can't be blamed for our horrors and evils. We must choose to do good. "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing"

  • he who has an ear to hear let him or her hear!

  • Great testimony. I love to hear how God proves himself to those that are skeptical.

  • Norm - is that you lying in the road faking you're dead? That's something Klinger would have done on Mash to get out of the Army.
